ASUU BLOODY RALLY

A Peaceful protest organized by Delta State students over the unceasing strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) turns into a bad page as police were alleged to have made efforts to stop them from protesting by firing guns and tear gas at the protesters.

It was said that most of them were seriously injured from the attack.

A three hundred level student was said to be seriously injured and is presently undergoing treatment in a hospital.

It was gathered that three of the students who were critically injured as a result of the police action are admitted in different hospitals in Asaba, Delta State.
