People saw this vehicle picking up Beggars and the Homeless at Marina Lagos around 6:30 this morning. Office of youth and social development was written on the KIA truck that carried away the homeless people seen loitering and passing the night in the area. I was wonder where they are taking these ones to since Gov. Peter Obi of Anambra is having a misunderstanding with Gov. Fashola for allegedly dumping over seventy homeless people in Onitsha last week.
Governor Fashola has since said only 14 destitutes were repatriated from the state and not the 70 people widely reported. The governor said the homeless people said they were from Anambra state and needed assistance to go back home, so they had to take them to Onitsha.
