Two primary school head teachers have died in an auto accident at Costain area of Ore, Ondo State, while returning home from their schools on Tuesday.
The accident happened when the two friends, Igbasan Bolaji and Akinbinuade Festus were driving home in a Nissan Sunny car belonging to one of them.
According to a source, the driver lost control at Costain, Ore and rammed into a stationary lorry with number plate LAGOS EPE 143 XB packed beside the road, killing the two friends instantly.
A family member said that Akinbinuade had tendered his retirement letter to the Ondo State Universal Basic Education to take effect from July 31st, after serving for 35 years. Igbasan was expected to quit service in 2015. The police said the remains of the two late headmasters had been deposited at Ore Specialist Hospital morgue.
The Police Public Relations Officer for the state command, Mr Wole Ogodo, described the accident as unfortunate.
